The White Mountain Creative Guild (WMCG) is a non-profit organization of Northern New Hampshire artists, white_mountain_creative_guildwriters, photographers, performers and supportive members who are dedicated to furthering creative understanding and fostering creative growth of members and the community at large by promoting interest, education, knowledge and skills in the arts.

The WMCG aims to provide educational and charitable activities and events to enrich and develop awareness and appreciation of the significance of all creative processes. The primary focus is on advancing and providing arts education and awareness for the youth and the general public, and in actively seeking venues for local artists to exhibit, showcase and sell their work.

We welcome new members who would be interested and willing to work toward our mission.

WMCG_photographyMelissa has enjoyed drawing her whole life, and exploring the creative possibilities of her art.  Graduating with a BA in Art with a concentration on Drawing, at Plymouth State University, she has spent time working with children of all ages explore the world of art.  “We can learn so much about others and ourselves through art.  By being curious, asking questions, and expressing what needs to be expressed through a variety of mediums, allows us to make discoveries and grow.”  To learn more about Melissa, or any of our other member, please visit the Membership page.

MEETINGS
Membership in WMCG is not limited to any certain form of the arts. Members include writers, illustrators, photographers, actors, web designers, graphic designers and puppeteers, as well as those who pursue more traditional art forms. Even though the members are diverse in genres, styles, mediums and career stages they share a common bond that unites them - they  foster encouragement, support and companionship to all. WMCG meetings are held on the third Saturday of each month at 5:15 pm.
